Advanced Open Water Diver
Further develop your diving skills, increase your confidence and experience new sensations by taking the PADI Advanced Open Water course:
This certification includes five PADI Adventure Dives, including the Deep Dive (depth max. 30 meters), Underwater Navigation, which are both mandatory, and three of the following specialties:
Boat Diver, Night Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, Wreck, Fish Identification, Underwater Digital Photography, Boat Diver, Nitrox, Delayed Surface Buoy Marker, etc
The theoretical part of the course can be completed prior to the actual dives through independent study using PADI’s interactive e learning system.
Minimum age 12 years with either a PADI Open Water qualification or the equivalent certification level from another scuba diving certification agency.

- Minimum level: Open Water Diver/Junior Open Water Diver Certification
- Duration: 3-5 days
- Maximum depth: 30 metres – 21 metres for ages 12-14 years
- PADI Junior Advance Open Water Diver Cert. for students aged 12-15 years

Time is of the essence or less than 12 years old?
Then the PADI Adventure Diver certification, (a subgroup of the PADI Adventured Open Water Diver Course) is a possibility on completion of 3 modules of theory, 3 open water training dives. It’s a great opportunity to work with your instructor to build your scuba skills and gain more confidence.
Also PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 10 years old and want to take the next step should enroll in an Adventure Diver Course.
However, at a later time, on completion of two more knowledge development modules, and their respective open water training dives, you will receive the Advanced Open Water Diver Certification.
