Aqua Divers Club has a wealth of experience in teaching and organizing children/youth scuba diving activities from the ages of 8 years+. Running courses throughout the year for International Schools in both in Greece and International Schools/Colleges outside of Greece.

Over the past years Aqua Divers Club have certified more than 1000 students from Seal Team up to Master Scuba Diver level in age groups ranging from 8 – 18 years old.

Student to instructor teaching ratios follow PADI course requirements, for the open water dives.

During the courses additional underwater games are introduced to improve their diving skills and special attention is given to the underwater eco system with students being shown how to retrieve and collect underwater garbage and gain a Project Aware Award.

Special diving courses are organized and instruction given in how to deal with sea turtles in their natural habitat and their rehabilitation, if required, with the Sea Turtle Rescue Centre “ ARCHELON “

Equipment is available, wet suit, Buoyancy Control Devices, regulators, masks, fins, for ages 8 years+

All courses offered lead to PADI certification and the students are covered by the diving club’s insurance policies.

PADI Bubblemaker 8 years+ with a maximum depth 2 metres

PADI Junior Discover Scuba Diving* 10 years+ with a maximum depth 12 metres

PADI Junior Open Water Diver* 10 – 11 years with maximum depth 12 metres and 12-14 years with maximum depth 18 metres

PADI Adventure Junior Open Water Diver* 10 -11 years with a maximum depth of 12 metres

PADI Advanced Junior Open Water Diver* 12 -14 years with a maximum depth of 21 metres

PADI Junior Rescue Diver with First Aid Course ( Emergency First Response) 12 years+
